Social activities for people with sight loss, in the Brighton and Hove AreaArgus Charity of the year 2008 |
The group travelled to Amberley working museum and arrived in sunshine. The 36 acre open air museum is in a beautiful spot and the first trip we did was a ride on the train through the village.

We walked around the exhibits, touching the big engines and smiling at the narrow seats in the carriages. There were working craft people in the wood turning and print shop. The group could have spent a lot more time, but there was so much to visit and the day went very quickly.
The volunteers helped us with the steps and read the notices as we walked around the exhibits. We all said we must come again next year. We did not even have time to ride on the Southdown vintage bus.
